Date Night

T.J. took me to this restaurant last night called Sycamore. We've been wanting to go there for months, but our funds wouldn't allow it until now. It felt so good to sit and be served. The atmosphere was very swanky and the food was perfectly delicious. T.J. got mussels in a lemon white wine sauce and I had lobster pot pie (yum!) and a salad. We also got wine and dessert. It was simply lovely.

It was so nice to be romanced.

Then we came home and watched two different airings from Austin City Limits on PBS: the Killers and Spoon. Both were very good. We decided that it was Indie Rock Night in Austin. Watching indie rock bands makes me want to dye my hair black and wear dark make-up. They are so shaggy and cool.

Hey Katrina,
It's wonderful to hear how things are going. I'm glad you had a nice time wining and dining with TJ. I'll be sure to post more as the days go by...you're really good at keeping up with this thing. By the way, Fayrah was a cow for Halloween this year. I had rehearsal for "West Side Story" on Halloween, so Spiro brought her by rehearsal to see everyone. I'm playing the role of Consuelo...quite a saucy little character! Our opening weekend was last weekend. We have five more shows to go and then on to Thanksgiving! We'll be in NC for the big feast this year. I wish you and TJ the best and will be in touch!
