an eddy/tomlin spring break to remember!

there are so many things to love about the above photo.

and so many things to love about those eddys.  after hanging out in fort collins for a bit, we went up to estes park to the ymca camp.  as you can tell from the pictures, it was cold, but we still had quite a splendid time.  we mini-golfed, played in the gym, did arts and crafts, and went to the indoor pool.  and sharing a big cabin was just perfect.  we kept using the word "wholesome" to describe our time.  it really was one of my favorite trips we have taken as a family.

charlie and lu exploring the grounds...elk poop and all

since it was so cold, we just drove everywhere on the campus.

so much plaid!

isn't this the perfect "camp" gym?

it's fun to stay at the YMCA!

thanks eddys for another wonderful time together.  the great thing about you all is that anything we do is going to be fun and memorable.  we love you!

a very nice visit

we didn't really do anything too crazy or big when my parents were here.  and, that actually was really great.  i feel like mom and dad got to see our "normal" life.  they came to the library with us, went to church, showed them the museum of discovery, met some of our favorite playmates, went to the park.

everyday things.

patented by my dad - "bonk ball"

on one snowy day, we made noodles a la carmen.  they were delicious and it was a really fun activity.

for the second year in a row, we got celebrate my mom's birthday together.  ahem, i realize that my parents look cute in this photo and the kiddos and me look a bit loopy.

it was really nice to just "hang out" and do life together for a week.  thanks for coming mom and dad.   we all love you.
