Last night, we went to see Feist. She is absolutely amazing. I want to grow up to be like her. She has this great voice and did this cool stuff with looping her voice live and harmonizing with herself, accentuating the fact that her voice is one of her instruments. As a former a cappella singer, I appreciated it very much. But, also, she can play a mean guitar. And, I mean, MEAN.
She is so cool. Seriously. You should check her out, while I go and work on my bar chords and cool guitar girl moves.

joseph and i might be going to see her tonight in carrboro (after reading your review, and tj's email, it seems like she comes highly recommended)...on another note, as i sit here entering data at work, i'm listening to a musician that they interviewed on npr that seems along the same vein as feist--her name is kt tunstall (here's the link: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5187870)...or if that doesn't work just go to npr.org and scroll down through the stories. anyway, she's a one woman band too, and i like the sound and thought you might too:)
