St. Gen

T.J. and I went on a little mid-week trip to St. Genevieve, Missouri. What a place! We had a great time walking around and getting to know the local flavors and flair. Discovering new places is one of my favorite things.

St. Genevieve had some wonderful antique stores. Yes, I got a few things like an awesome orange corral ring, blue beads, and old windows. We quickly found our favorite hangout called The Tin Roof--good coffee and cake! Plus, we stayed at an old hotel next to the train tracks (okay, this wasn't quite so charming in the middle of the night when trains actually rolled through with loud whistles and screeching gears).

Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the four different vineyards in the area...but, that's our reason to go back!

There were so many charming architectural things like this all over.

Sweet Things was a fun candy and gift shop. I love the name!
