visit-o-fun

Last weekend, my dear friend, Sarah, came to visit me in Columbia. Abbie, my other friend from Pembroke, and Sarah are probably the people with whom I most often laugh. These photos are an example of just how silly we can be. We took these with Sarah's computer. Mac Laptops are so cool and fun. When I have a lot of extra money, I'm going to buy all of my readers one!

As part of the visit-o-fun, we watched a documentary on parrots. The best part for me was hearing this song. It's about three parrots, yes parrots named Dogen, Connor, and Tupelo. Yes, one of the lines is "Tupelo was my baby". There is a music video in case you were wondering.

I also got to take Sarah on the garage sale circuit. Unfortunately, there were not many great finds to be found. Sadly, the season is coming to a close. Just another reason to despise cold weather....oh well.

I love seeing my friend...she puts me at great ease. AND, I am so thankful she is only a measly two hours away now.

I do apologize for my hiatus from blogging. Hopefully, I can keep up a bit more this fall. It's almost my first blogging birthday. wooooo.
