here is the house

please see the next two posts regarding our house in greeley. not all rooms have been photographed at this point...so, sit tight.

it is a 1951 ranch. it's hard to tell on the photos...but almost all the rooms have cove (curved) ceilings, hardwood floors, and lots of light streaming in.

here is the exterior (doy). we had the trim and front door painted by a lively painter who would talk to our kids through the windows while they were supposed to be napping. the trim used to be purple and the door was white...now it's blue on blue (i guess i was inspired by my kappa sisters)

living room...soon it will have a new couch in it (it just has to arrive...yes, we bought a grown-up couch...it's not even secondhand...are we on the up and up or what?)

dining room, complete with an heirloom table made by t.j.'s great uncle buzz...a great big thank you to mike and jayme for delivering it to us along with the chairs. also, i'd like to point out that i got these roses at king soupers (grocery store) for $3.00!!! what a deal.
