one year

t.j. and i have been parents for a year now.  yes, pretty incredible.  it has gone so fast and it has been so full.  at some point everyday, perhaps when luella is warbling a little baby noise song or when carlyle just stops whatever he's doing, looks up and smiles at me, but at some point everyday, i get this aching joy.  i love being a mom.  we have gotten through this year more or less unscathed.  for that, i completely credit the kids.  they are very agreeable people.   they are also reasonable and delightful.
