fridge

we get this magazine called orion.  the current issue has a photo series by mark menjivar.  in it, he takes photos of the contents of peoples' fridges.  it was interesting to see what kind of assumptions you make about people just by what's in their refrigerator as well as how they choose to place things inside.  so, i thought i'd share ours....what does this say about us?  hmmmm...we have a big block of muenster cheese, we eat some vegetables... as i study this photo, more than anything, i notice the beer....that can mean only one thing...jeremy was in town. 

 

yay!!!!  

it was so, so, so good to see our friend.  for the past four or five years, before we moved, it was a standard thing to see jer-jer a minimum of three times a week.  and then to go zero times per week!--you can imagine.  

we had a great time...lots of talking, some movie-watching, back patio time, delicious food and drinks.  it just felt comfortable....like home.

jeremy is so sweet with our kids.  i love watching him interact with them.  luella quickly took a strong liking to jer-jer.  she gave him extra smiles and squeals...

carlyle, however, was a tad frightened of nice jer-bear for almost the entire visit.  strange!  but, we all found it kind of funny.  car would scamper away from jeremy anytime they were too close...as though jeremy were going to gobble him up.

jeremy has so many exciting things going on in his life right now...i'm so thankful he made time to come out and see us.  thank you, the jer-jer.
